Gardeningwell.ie is a family-run wildlife-gardening project based in County Meath. We share practical ideas, stories, and educational resources about biodiversity and community gardening.

  • Name and email address — when you subscribe to our newsletter or purchase a digital product.
  • Order details — items purchased, amount paid, and date (payments handled by PayPal/Stripe; we never see your card details).
  • Technical data — anonymous analytics (pages visited, device type, region) via Google Analytics 4.

We do not collect sensitive personal data and we do not sell or share your information with third parties.

We use your data to:

  • Send occasional newsletters or updates you’ve requested.
  • Process and deliver orders for products or downloads.

Data is stored securely on servers operated by our web-host and within the AcyMailing and HikaShop systems integrated with Joomla 4. Access is limited to the site owner only. We use SSL encryption and take regular backups.

When you subscribe, we record your consent and send a confirmation email (double opt-in). Each email includes an Unsubscribe link that works instantly. You can also email us to remove your details at any time.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to remember preferences and collect anonymous usage data via Google Analytics 4. You can accept/reject cookies via our banner or in your browser settings.

7. Payments

All payments are handled by PayPal and/or Stripe (PCI-DSS and GDPR compliant). We do not store or process your card details.
